Nice one there Jon-o.

It's funny how people intimately involved with the political process speak in terms of the "working class" politics or the "elite" politics. In both cases there is a fundamental implication of class divide, or stark differences in priorities. In the confusion it seems like the most important aspect of this divide is how to exploit it for political gain, not how to decrease the gap.

A good read from Slate, this time playing the Oracle of the Election and providing us with the nightmare scenarios that might accompany voting this year.

And here's some conspiracy theory that ain't fiction...it's about Bush and his play maker—Baker (who will once again be defending G. "WWIII" Bush should we need another recount). (No child left behind is fine, Mr. President, but can we focus on no vote left behind?)
