Bush Suspends "Prevailing Wages" Requirement in Katrina Areas

This is old news to some extent, but on September 8, Bush temporarily suspended the 1931 "Davis-Bacon Act" that requires federal contractors to pay a prevailing wage (in New Orleans this would be $10.40 an hour). Great, exploitation.
Demand that Bush rescind this order (an email campaign by FaithfulAmerica.org)!
